Apple Pinkabelle dwarf
Malus domestica
Description: A dwarf variety of Pink Lady that produces delicious full sized apples with white flesh that is crisp and juicy.
Maturity: Late April (Late Season).
Pollinators: Required (another variety which flowers at the same time) suggested Super Dwarf Red Delicious, Super Dwarf Fuji and Super Dwarf Gala
Comments: Eating fresh, stewing, apple cider, cooking and dried apple. Tree will grow to 2m x 1m, suitable to grow in courtyards, or on balconies and decks, in pots or tubs. PBR protected. Spur bearing habit, can produce up to 40kg of fruit.
Tree Care: Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Pinkabelle needs about 400-500 chill hours. It is a temperate apple and has a "medium" chill requirement.
Tree Size: Grows to a height of 2m and a width of 1m.
